Itinerary
Upon arrival at Zhangjiajie Airport or Railway Station, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your driver and transferred to your hotel for a restful stay.
In the morning, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby at the scheduled time before heading to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
After entering the park, your guide will escort you to the Bailong Elevator, the world’s tallest and fastest outdoor sightseeing elevator, for a scenic ride up to the summit.
After exiting the elevator, you’ll arrive at Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, the core scenic zone of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Walk along the cliffside sightseeing trail and admire the park’s iconic sandstone pillars and breathtaking natural landscapes.
Yuanjiajie is also famous as an inspiration for the floating mountains in the movie Avatar. Here, you’ll have the chance to see the real-life scenery behind the legendary “Hallelujah Mountains.” Popular highlights such as the Enchanting Terrace and the First Bridge Under Heaven are also located in this area.
Continue to Tianzi Mountain, a spectacular mesa located in the northwest of Wulingyuan Scenic Area. From the mountaintop, enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the nature reserve, including Helong Park, the West Sea, and the park’s dramatic sea of peaks.
After the visit, descend the mountain by Tianzi Mountain Cableway.
In the evening, visit the 72 Tujia Stilted Buildings Scenic Area. More than just an architectural landmark, this unique complex showcases the rich cultural heritage and traditional craftsmanship of the Tujia ethnic group.
As night falls, the illuminated buildings create a spectacular atmosphere, making it one of Zhangjiajie’s must-see evening attractions.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel this morning before checking out and departing for Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park.
Take the cable car up the mountain and walk along the cliffside glass walkway, where breathtaking views unfold beneath your feet. When the mountain is covered in mist, the scenery feels almost like a fairyland.
One of the park’s most iconic attractions is Tianmen Cave, also known as the “Gateway to Heaven.” Here, you may also have the chance to watch the thrilling wing-suit flying performances that have made Tianmen Mountain world-famous.
Other highlights include the Glass Skywalk, Tianmen Cave, and the winding 99 Bends Road.
After the tour, you will be transferred to Zhangjiajie Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. We hope to welcome you again in the future.
