In the evening, visit the famous 72 Tujia Stilted Buildings. After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning at the hotel before checking out and heading to the famous Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area. Take one of the world’s longest mountain cable cars up to Tianmen Mountain and stroll along the spectacular cliffside plank roads built against the sheer rock faces. When the mountain is shrouded in mist, the scenery feels like a fairyland.

The most iconic attraction of Tianmen Mountain is the legendary Tianmen Cave, literally meaning “Gateway to Heaven” in Chinese. This natural wonder is also renowned worldwide as the site where professional wingsuit flyers have performed breathtaking flights through the cave. Popular highlights of the scenic area include the Glass Skywalk, Tianmen Cave, and the thrilling 99-Bend Mountain Road.

In the afternoon, visit the Junsheng Sandstone Painting Museum, an excellent place to appreciate local art and gain insight into Tujia ethnic culture. The museum showcases the unique sandstone paintings created by renowned artist Li Junsheng, blending natural materials with traditional ethnic artistry in a truly distinctive and fascinating way.

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at the appointed time before heading to the breathtaking Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Begin your adventure by taking the world-famous Bailong Elevator, the highest and fastest outdoor sightseeing lift, up to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. Here, you will witness the stunning landscape that inspired the floating “Hallelujah Mountains” in the movie Avatar, surrounded by towering sandstone pillars and misty peaks.

Next, continue to Tianzi Mountain, renowned as the “King of Peak Forests,” where you can enjoy panoramic views of the spectacular nature reserve. Along the way, visit highlights such as Helong Park and the magnificent West Sea Stone Forest, immersing yourself in Zhangjiajie’s unique quartz sandstone formations. Finally, descend the mountain by the Tianzi Mountain Cable Car, taking in the extraordinary scenery from above.

Experience the world-famous Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, where you can walk across the transparent bridge suspended high above the canyon, enjoying both the thrill and the breathtaking natural scenery below. Afterwards, drive to the historic Fenghuang Ancient Town.

As evening falls, the traditional stilted houses lining the Tuojiang River gradually light up, unveiling the unique romance and charm of this ancient border town. Stroll through the old stone-paved streets and immerse yourself in the rich ethnic culture and tranquil atmosphere of western Hunan.

Stay overnight at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hot Springs Fenghuang, where you can relax and rejuvenate in the soothing hot springs after a wonderful day of sightseeing.

In the early morning, enjoy the peaceful and charming dawn scenery of Fenghuang Ancient Town. As mist gently drifts over the Tuojiang River, the stilted houses reflected on the water create a picturesque and tranquil atmosphere. Take a leisurely walk through the ancient streets and experience the timeless beauty and poetic charm of this historic town at daybreak.
